    Getting to Know Me.

    Hi, my name is Hayley Meier and I am originally from Rochester, in upstate New York. I now reside in Tucson, Arizona where I teach full-time at the University of Arizona as an Assistant Professor of Practice for the School of Dance.


    After completing my BFA in Dance in 2009 from the University of Arizona, I began dancing professionally with companies such as the Rochester City Ballet, River North Dance Chicago, C5 Create with No Limits, and the Lyric Opera of Chicago.


    In 2015 I discovered my love for Pilates while attending a group class in Chicago, IL. Being that I have been a dancer my entire life, I couldn't believe that I had not discovered Pilates sooner. I loved the way it made me feel and it was a manageable routine that I could commit to everyday.


    In 2017 I completed a 450-hour comprehensive certification in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, and Wunda Chair through Pilates Sports Center, focusing on spinal health and rehabilitation. I have also participated in pre- and post-natal seminars, as well as jumpboard workshops using the Reformer.


    In May of 2020 I completed my MFA in Dance from the University of Arizona where I focused on pedagogy, performing, and choreography. I am currently a full-time Assistant Professor at the School of Dance. 


    As I continue to grow, I can wholeheartedly say that I am in the best shape of my life, both physically and mentally, and I owe much of that to Body by Hayley. Pilates is safe. It's cerebral. It's engaging. And most of all, it's effective. I promise you won't regret it.
